So today! We got all the presents ready, so Christmas is GO just as soon as we get out of work tomorrow. We did some laundry, so we have underwear and socks again and clean towels yay! We paid the water bill.
We also had breakfast out at the Co-Op, which is always a lovely time for me. They make pretty good coffee and their soy creamer is wonderful.
It was, all in all, a terribly productive day for us. We even got the living room cleaned up.
I wish I could stay at Mom's longer, but... well, I knew when I took the job it would be like this.

Tired or tiring
So we don't get to go see Jason's family in early January like we thought. He got rejected for the time off (of course he did, why would Wally World ever grant him the single thing a year he asks for?) and so we're sort of figuring stuff out. I think I got the time off, amusingly enough, so I'm going to take a week to start planning my thesis out for real, and to finish up all the things I know I have yet to do. Ugh, I'm really bad at these sorts of things.
It's cold down here. -3 when I went into work this morning, but at least the sun's out now.
We leave Wednesday night, at like... 5:30 or 6 God willing. And then we leave from Mom's Thursday night. And then I work at 6 AM and Jason works at 7 AM the day after Christmas. Whoop-de-freakin-doo.
I'm going to go play video games now in lieu of doing anything useful, because I sort of feel like not doing anything useful today. I'm a bit depressed, which I hope you'll grant me. I was very, very excited about seeing Robin and Rusty and Hunter and Gina and Nana and Grandaddy and just everybody. Oh well. WE WILL FIND A WAY.
Tomorrow Jason and I both have the day off, so the list goes thusly:
1. Wrapping presents for Mom's house.
2. Getting full tank of gas.
3. Laundry.
4. Clean up apartment, since our roommate will be back the 27th and we've taken over the living room.

It's been a while, I know.
Sorry. The end of the semester sort of crept up on me faster than I had thought it would.
In any case, all's done that's done. I got my work schedule for Christmas, and it's going to be a... quick visit, and I'm not happy about that. At the latest I'm coming back home for Spring Break, but I may simply take a week off school and come back before that. I'm not sure I'm willing to wait that long for some serious time.
My mother, even as we speak, is working on the redoing of my bedroom back in their house. :( See, that's a sad face. Ha, not really. I bet she'll make it a lot nicer-looking than I ever did. I don't really -do- clean rooms.
It looks like I've got on A and 3 Bs for this semester, so about my usual.
Christmas-presents-buying on Tuesday with Jason, and I need to order his since I'm getting them off Amazon. I get paid, literally, Christmas Eve this year. That's... amusing.
Sorry I sort of dropped off, but meh.
I'm going to go watch TV over nice hot coffee now.

bumble bumble
Busy busy busy. End of school. Lots of stuff to do. More later, when the world slows down.
